The hotel's location on a cliff offers breathtaking views. We loved sitting on the balcony and gazing over the trees. The hotel is also situated in a sanctuary teeming with animals, which was a unique experience. The boat trip on the lake was a great chance to see hippos and beautiful birds fishing.
For us, it was ideal.

The lodge we stayed at this Easter had amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The golf course was also impressive, with zebras and impalas roaming the course. The pool area was well-equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The breakfast was not up to expectations, with cold food and dry cheeses. the walk to the room was quite long and difficult, especially with no assistance offered.

We had excellent value for our money with a beautiful double villa and the option to self-cater. The location of the resort was secluded and quiet, with large grounds to explore. The rooms were amazing and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
The breakfast offerings could have been better.

I recently stayed at a lodge somewhere in Kenya's Great Rift Valley. The lodge was situated on a convenient road connected to Nakuru-Nairobi highway. The lodge had ample grounds for guests to walk around and play golf. The food was also great, and the staff was friendly and hospitable. They even took care of my family's needs, including those of my two-year-old twins.
The lodge's karaoke and casino facilities were not up to the mark.

I had such a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location between two remarkable restaurants on the lake was a delight. I highly recommend a visit to see the hippos and brilliant birds fishing on the lake. The golf course here was exceptional, and the caddy I was paired with was highly recommended. Exploring the nearby forest with a professional naturalist was a highlight. The service at this hotel was top-notch, with excellent room service, housekeeping, and dry cleaning. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected. The garden furniture on the balcony provided a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The only minor downside was that the hotel could improve on their customer service.

The food was also not up to our expectations.

The staff were helpful, the view from the bedroom was nice, and the room was conveniently located. The golf course was excellent and the property was beautifully manicured. The road leading to the hotel has been tarmacked for easy access.

Spent the new year at a lovely lodge with astonishing views of the lake and nearby mountains. The hotel offered an impressive buffet with an array of international and local cuisine, plus a variety of cocktails. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel boasted a heated pool and a spa. The hotel was also conveniently located near a national park and a number of hiking trails.
The hotel had no entertainment at night and the Wi-Fi signal was weak in certain areas of the lodge, making it challenging to connect with loved ones abroad.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
